What did we do today?

My little climber!

We talked about nouns today! I saw this cute haunted house math activity online and turned it into a noun activity.

Ivy had to find the nouns (ghosts) and put them in the windows of the house.

In our Saxon Math lesson for the day, we got to follow a recipe and make peanut butter.  We used peanuts to count by twos, fives and tens. We shelled our peanuts. Ivy read the recipe. Ivy followed the directions and we made our own peanut butter!!!

Thanks Memaw! for this handy little chopper! After we made the peanut butter, we used celery and talked about fractions. After all the talking, we put our peanut butter on our celery and had a fun snack!

After snack, we went outside to play in the leaves! Hayley had to have a bite of a leaf!

Hayley didn't like the taste!
