Monkey Party!

We were finally able to celebrate Hayley's birthday with the family! We finally had her 1st birthday party!!! It was a monkey party because Hayley is a little monkey! She is so funny and she climbs everything. If you tell Hayley to frown, she does. If you tell her to laugh, she does. She is such a joy! On Sunday after church, Memaw, Papaw, Sharon, Daniel, Buck, Gaye, Matt, Alicia, Trent, Emma and Mimi came to our house to eat lunch and have monkey cake! We had a feast! Turkey, Beef, sweet potatoes, fresh green beans, corn, potatoes, tomatoes all from the garden!

God, Thank you for creating Hayley! Thank you for allowing us to celebrate YOU! You are the reason we celebrate!  Thank you for being our creator and substainer. Thank you for meeting all our needs and much more!
Thank you for the AMAZING church service that we had yesterday. Thank you that my mom, dad, Sharon, Daniel, Buck, Gaye, Matt, Alicia, Trent and Emma were at church and we all experienced you! I just loved that we were all there yesterday! Thank you for that gift! Thank you for the book of Daniel and for the great reminder of how precious the gift of prayer is. Thank you for convicting me in so many areas and for challenging me to pray more and more. Thank you for Abi, Cortni and Bill and for allowing me to play with them yesterday and worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you for such a wonderful small group last night. A time of prayer, confession, praise and fellowship. Lord, I feel full today of your presence and I am truly thankful. God help us to continue to pray for our girls, our family, the lost in our family. Father, thank you for the reminder that you are what matters. Everything I have, everything I am is because of you. You are worthy of our praise!

This is the cake that mommy made for me.  She doesn't know how to get it to flip around on here...???

Thanks for the cake!

You really want me to put my hands in this?

Well, I put my finger in it, would you all stop looking at me and please get me out of this chair! I don't feel good! In fact, if you will stop this party and check, I have a fever!

"Thanks for the Advil! Glad you finally checked my temperature! I tried to tell you all! Hope you all don't get sick! I think it's my teeth! So glad to finally sleep!!!"

1st Birthday Pictures

Hayley's 1st Birthday was last Thursday. I can't believe our little gift is one! Brent and I were busy helping with Riverside Cove but took the morning off from camp to enjoy breakfast with our sweet girl. We went to the Mad Badder! In the afternoon, we had a party with all the campers from RSC. We had birthday cake, snow cones and pop corn. It was great. The campers also sang to Hayley and she loved it! More pics to come!

Hayley's Aunt Sharon
Hayley loved when the campers sang to her.
We enjoyed telling the campers that Hayley was born last year (2011) during camp and weighed 3 pounds!
Hayley's cousins...Trent and Emma and Sister Ivy.
Mom and dad were so tired but so thankful to celebrate Hayley's 1st!

Hayley...we love you!

An afternoon at the Wilson Farm

Hayley loved this car! She cried every time she had to get out of it.
We had a great time going to Devin's parents farm. It was fun just to spend time together as a family in the car. Hayley was such a trooper. She laughed and played in the car, took a nap on the porch swing, took a walk with the women-folk and played on the porch. Ivy enjoyed taking a walk to the waterfall with Daddy, Devin and some new friends. I enjoyed talking with Devin's mom and Ellen's mom and really enjoyed sitting on the porch swing visiting with Ellen and looking out at the mountains. Devin's parents live in one of the prettiest places I have ever been in my entire life.

Look at the view....try to see past Brent and Devin!!!

Hayley thought we were just going to swing....and we did...until.....
She fell asleep!

I love this lady...and I love the Cactus sticking out of the top of our head!!

I can't wait for little girl Wilson to join us!!!!
