We had a great Thanksgiving Week. I didn't take enough pictures. Hopefully, Alicia and Sharon did. These are a few family shots! I'm so thankful for my family!

Ivy saw this rainbow out side last week. She came running in and said, "mom, where's your camera?" She was so excited. We sat down and thanked God for keeping His promises to us!

Just a few smiles from our Precious Hayley! Will add more smile pictures later! She is
giggling, (especially when Her daddy tickles her feet) and trying so hard to talk. She is making the cutest sounds!
We started home school back in August. Today we had our 70th day of homeschool! Since I just started this blog, I wanted to add some important pictures. In the previous post, I added pictures of Ivy's first day in Kindergarten. She was heading downstairs to our school room in the basement! I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to teach Ivy. We have loved it so far. I never thought I would home school as I attended public school and taught public school for four years but it is working for us right now. Brent and I both feel that this is what we need to do for Ivy now. We will pray and see where God leads each year! Tomorrow we are going to go to the Grove Park Inn in Asheville to see the Gingerbread houses. That is if it doesn't snow us out! It's pouring snow here! Hope you read this Jana! It's snowing!

Ivy's first day of school was August 1, 2011.

Ivy and I were playing with my camera. It was fun to dress sissy up and play with her!

I love being a MOM!!

Trouble!!!!

Our homeschooling friends met at our church today for a Thanksgiving Feast. Our meal consisted of Turkey sandwiches, carrots, chips and cookies. It was so much fun. We played with our friends, watched the Charlie Brown Mayflower video, did a lesson on Thanksgiving and made turkey crafts!

I took Hayley to the doctor today for her four month visit. I filled out the stages questionnaire. When the doctor came in, she went over the information with me. The doctor said, "So, she isn't cooing or talking yet?" I said, "no, not yet." As soon as that came out of my mouth, Hayley started cooing and making the sweetest sounds I've ever heard! It was so funny and precious. She cooed for about five minutes.

I'm doing this for you Jana! Also, as a way to journal and keep track of how God is blessing. Wow! He is always working!
