Little Doot

God was so good to us by letting us travel to Chatanooga, TN last week. Cat and Kevin Arrowood were kind enough to invite us to go to the Campus Outreach National Conference. Ellen's mom and dad live in Chatanooga and they were so kind to let us stay at their house. We had such a wonderful time! We enjoyed time with Ellen and Devin and also college students from our church. Brent was able to enjoy going to the conference with Devin. Brent listened to John Piper, Matt Chandler and many other great teachers. Ellen loved on us all SO much and especially Hayley. Ellen kept Hayley so that I could take Ivy to the museum.

On Friday, Jana and Claire drove an hour and a half to go to the Children's Museum with us. The museum was AWESOME and our time with Jana and Claire was precious. We miss you both so much!!!

We walked across a long bridge to get to the museum. Ivy still wanted to "baby" Claire. Ivy kept trying to hold Claire's hand. Claire has grown up so much and is now able to tell Ivy no. Claire is talking so well. At times, Claire would let Ivy hold her hand and at other times she wouldn't.

Ivy has had many nicknames for Claire. Ivy used to call Claire "little." Ivy also calls Claire "doot." The name doot comes from when Claire was first learning to talk and she called a goat a "Doot" Claire is now able to say goat very well. In one of the pictures, the girls are sitting on a statue of a goat. When we got home from Tennessee Ivy said, "mom, I had a great time with little doot!" I did too!
