We went to North Carolina two weeks ago to visit family. Ivy turned seven on July 2nd. It is so hard for me to believe that Ivy is seven! WOW! Time flies! I praise my Father above for allowing me to be Ivy's mom.
Ivy, You are a gift from God. I Love being your mom. I love how God is working in your heart and drawing you to himself. God has made you funny, creative, independent, so witty, very loving toward your sister and so much more. God has given you a great imagination. God has allowed you to experience many new things this year. I'm so thankful that you have learned to swim, have enjoyed soccer, have become an even BETTER reader and that God is helping to make your mind sharp. Your vocabulary is getter bigger and bigger! God has helped you to work hard at school and work hard at practicing your piano and violin. Thank you for helping me unload the groceries, clean the table, and potty train your sister! You helped her so much, Ivy! Thank you! Thank you for teaching her every day, for reading to her, for praying for her! Thank you for reminding me not to text and drive, and for helping me become more like Christ. Ivy, my prayer for you is that you would continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, that you would continue to be a prayer warrior, to continue to grow in your love for God's word, to continue to spur me, your dad, Hayley and others on to know Christ more. Ivy, Yes! God is working in your heart! Keep talking to him! Love, Mom!
