Lately.....

Hayley loves to "make an A" with play dough.

The seminary had a Fall Festival. Ivy entered the Pie Contest. We didn't win but it was still fun...well......

We made a HUGE mess making the pie...the pie boiled over and the oven caught on fire......

It's funny now....but not then!!!!

We were so impressed with all that the seminary did for the families!

The girls got umbrellas, we got dinner, candy, cookies, snow cones, pop corn, and on and on.....

The Lord gave daddy a chance to preach at a small church in Indiana. Thanks Brent for studying and being faithful!

The girls saying cheese before we went into the church.

We love our daddy! Thanks God for helping daddy work hard and giving him strength!

Hayley loves her "friends."  She is always ready to  go play with "Friends." All kids are Hayley's "Friends!" When we walk by a child in the store, Hayley says, "Friend...go play with friend!" Hayley likes toys!

Playing Dress Up

Ivy decided to dress Hayley up in my clothes.

Scarf, high shoes, three hair bows and a necklace.

Trying to get it just right!
A onsie that is too small!
White pants and white hat.  Can you tell by Hayley's face what she thinks about the outfit?

CC Week 1

I'm thankful Ivy gets to wear a uniform. I wish I had worn uniforms in school!

Our day starts in the sanctuary with prayer, singing, announcements, the pledge, and family presentation. We then go to our class to go over new grammar. Today we learned about Charlemagne, the continents and oceans, 8 parts of speech, Latin, seven types of biomes and our timeline! Learning is fun!

Demonstrating how a planet's surface temperature can vary.
We did two science experiments. We first talked about the scientific method. We made a hypothesis and then we went outside to see if our guess was right.

To determine why satellites appear to be stationary!

We also did art today! OiLs--circles, lines, curves, dots, etc.

Learning so much!

You can't tell a lot from this picture but Hayley had dirt all over her. She was filthy! Dirt in her hair, ears, eyes, in between her toes! What fun!!!!

I'm really thankful for our gospel community group. We have learned a lot from being with our brothers and sisters in this group. We had an outreach and invited several people from Nepal. The Lord really used the precious women from Nepal to work in my heart. As I sat with them and tried so hard to communicate with them, I really fell in love with them and desperately want them to come to know Jesus and put their trust in Him. Help me pray for them!

At our Gospel Community Group, Hayley played with friends and had a Popsicle!

This little girl is EVERYWHERE! I can hardly keep up. She is precious and unique. God has made us all so different and so special.  I'm thankful for her. I pray daily for the Lord to give me insight into her personality and her heart. I pray that the Lord would show me how to discipline her, love her, teach her and be consistent with her. Help me pray for her! She is a sponge right now!

Sweet Friends!

Brent and Sonny
I am so thankful that the Lord has given us Sonny, Berna and their boys as friends. We have prayed along with our family and friends from NC that God would give us brothers and sisters in Christ in KY that would spur us on toward Him. Sonny and Berna are answers to prayer. They pray for us,  encourage us and love us so well. Memaw and Papaw left us some bacon and eggs when they went home. We took the bacon and eggs over to Sonny and Berna's and had breakfast for supper. It turned into a funny surprise birthday party for Brent.  Sonny got Brent a funny birthday gift!

Brent is not too sure about this!

What could be in this big box?

The perfect gift!

Doesn't he look so handsome?

It was hilarious!

Thanks, Sonny and Berna!

Memaw and Papaw Came

Memaw got the girls a new zebra beanbag.
We were so thankful to see Memaw and Papaw! We went to the Bass Pro shop and a huge flea market with them. They also went to church with us and fixed us yummy bbq.  Thankful God blessed us with them. Thankful God gave them a safe trip to KY and a safe trip home to NC.
