Last day of Motor Skills

Ivy has really enjoyed motor skills! She enjoyed playing with her friends and the many activities that the seminary set up!

Aunt Ruth gave us a new craft book. Ivy picked out a craft. I found a coupon for Hobby Lobby. We went and bought the supplies and made the candle! This is definitely a "Parents Hands On" Craft! Ivy and I loved making it together! We made sure that Hayley was taking a nap before starting this project!

We started with an empty oatmeal container and a small tapered candle!

Field Day

Inside for our morning work.  I can see Ivy thinking...."When can we go outside?"

Ivy was able to participate in “field day” at her CC class today. It was a beautiful spring day. We had a picnic and then she was able play all of the games with her class. She did tug of war, water games, climbing games and much more. I was able to watch her somewhat but I was constantly having to look for the little monkey of the family. Hayley is so active and insisted on climbing the “net” to get to the tip top of the play ground. 

We are very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this CC family. We have met some wonderful moms and their children.

Soccer!

Ivy moved to Kentucky! Yes! It was a big move for her! She moved six hours away from  her grandparents, her best friend/cousin Trent, her other best friend Kayla, her other best friends Sean, Ella, Reed, Kylee, and her Aunt Sharon, Aunt Shesha, Uncle Matt, her church, etc. BUT!!! God has helped her! Yes! God has helped her try so many new things. Ivy has gone to MANY new churches, a new school, a new violin teacher, a new piano teacher, a new PE program. For those of you who know Ivy, you know that she is shy with new people but once she gets to know you she is full of words! I have simply been amazed at how God has worked in Ivy's heart. He has given her strength and courage to walk into a new children's church  at 7 different churches and stay while mom and dad walk away. God has given her courage to make new friends. God has comforted her heart when she missed family and friends.AND....Today, Ivy had her FIRST Soccer game!  God helped her run hard, run after the ball, kick the ball and have fun. God gave her energy and allowed her to enjoy it! God gave us a beautiful day. God gave us a new friend Lindsey to help mommy with Hayley and to cheer for Ivy! God is also helping Ivy read her bible and grow in prayer! We just thank God for working in Ivy's heart! We also ask him to continue to help Ivy!! She needs Him and So do I!!!
