What did we do in NC?

Several years ago, my mom had to have open heart surgery. I'm so thankful that God healed my mom's heart and has given us many more years with her! I'm so thankful for my mom! When mom had surgery, we were able to stay at the Rathburn House while she was in the hospital. It was a blessing to have a place to stay. Every year at Christmas, my parents take apples, oranges and other treats to the house for the staff and guest. It was neat for Ivy and Hayley to get to go too!

Hiking in December!

As soon as daddy had a free moment, he took us hiking. We really enjoy hiking and don't get to do it a lot in Kentucky. It was very cold but we still had a great time. Daddy was so tired from a month of tree work, but he was nice to take Ivy and I!

God was so kind to give us sweet time with the Hawkins. We lived with them while we were in North Carolina. It was so fun to eat dinner together, to watch baby Charlie, pray with them and know that they were praying for us! We love Ali and Hawk and Charlie SO very much!
